The seven sapphires are approximately 2mm in size, round and faceted. They are a deep midnight navy.

The ring is a size 6.25 or size M, it could be re-sized. It is a light ring, weighing 1.15 grams.
The setting diameter is approximately 7.5 mm in width. It has hallmarks for Edinburgh, 9kt and the date letter 1981.
