An unusual antique ring in 22ct gold, the ring has a circular medallion style feature with beadwork and a pattern that surrounds a star set ruby in the centre. It is Etruscan in style and the rich gold colour of high carat pieces.
Measurements and markings:
The central feature of the ring has a width of 12mm, the band at the back 3mm x 2mm. The ring has clear hallmarks for Birmingham, 22ct gold and the date letter 1854-55. It is a very small size so could be a ring for small finger: size 4.
It is in extraordinarily good condition, given the age of the piece.
Rings are shipped in velvet gift boxes, tied with ribbon. Included is a short assessment that includes the details of the piece.
