A rare and beautiful piece that has been dated at the latest from mid 19th century so 1850’s. However it has been noted that it could be from 1750 given the style of dress the woman is wearing. It has an oval porcelain plaque that depicts the head and shoulders of a young lady. The plaque is set in a rose gold mount with banded shoulders.
Markings and measurements:
The plaque is approx 12mm x 10mm and the band 3mm. There are stamps for 9ct and a makers mark F.P.
The ring shows its age! The painting is worn in parts and the band has marks and wear.
Each piece is presented in a velvet gift box, tied with a ribbon. I include a short jewelry assessment that details hallmarks if present & measurements.
